We're delighted to share with you that, in collaboration with Smart Carbon and Trees4Travel, venuedirectory.com has calculated and offset its carbon emissions for the year 2020/2021 and is now Carbon Neutral!

Alongside our own commitment to sustainability, we have also been busy working with our venues and venue groups that have achieved green accreditations and carbon neutrality or have carbon offset their meetings & events through various offset projects.  We are delighted to add most recently, Kew Green, PPHE, and Newflex Citibase to our database of green accredited venues.  This provides booking agents with the confidence as well as the ability to shortlist and select venues based on their sustainability.

Trees4Travel, whose primary purpose is to make travel & events planet and people positive, has worked with us over the last year in not only helping us to neutralise our carbon emissions through tree growing and UN-certified carbon credits, but also in calculating and neutralising the emissions generated from the recent Instant Book Summit hosted by beam and powered by venuedirectory.com, as well as the last GRATIS forum.  Trees4Travel is currently investing not only in reforestation projects in developing countries such as Haiti and, soon Nepal, but also in renewable energy projects across the world.
