My Dad, George Grant was admitted to Stirling Hospital middle of Nov with breathing difficulties. I live 4,000 miles away and got the awful call that every child dreads. However, my family expressed that thankfully, Dr Grant (no relation to our family) was doing a wonderful job of taking car of my Dad. I just wanted to say a Huge thanks to him and his staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)

We were on holiday due to return home on 28th December when my husband was seen by the NHS Direct doctor who said he needed to go to Hospital and he was admitted that evening to Stirling Infirmary with pneumonia and was not expected to survive but he had the best treatment I could have imagined in High Dependency Unit and then in wonderful Ward 6. He came down to Kent two weeks ago and we miss SRF. Janet Lazell

My fiance, Archie (Max) and I were admitted to Stirling Royal Infirmary 1st July after a car accident. Max was in intensive care for a few days after having a hip replacement operation. The staff could not have been nicer. What brilliant and very considerate people! Max was moved to ward 27 where he again received great care and attention. I was only in overnight, and again the staff were great. We would also like to thank Mr Ritchie and Mr Preiss for the wonderful work they did for Max. A highly recommended hospital.
Best wishes to you all at Stirling Royal Infirmary!

I just want you to know that all the staff on ward 18 made this operation so much better than it could have been. I was reassured at all times and given peace of mind at a very difficult time. The staff were also looking after someone with special needs who stretched their talents to the limits. All staff from head of house to the cleaners had infinate patience. I would tell anyone with any reservations, to have no fear on the level of care that they would receive in ward 18. Thank you all

In 2007 despite having NSCLC a Dr Ritchie performed hip sugery on me. What an absolute gentleman and oh the pain he has saved me from. I always meant to write to thank him and hope you will do this here, a great man!
