I used this firm for buying and selling a house and flat and the buying was a nightmare due to an unscrupulous developer who was subsequently booted off the planning committee! I was serving in Canada at the time with the RAF and the partner who dealt with our conveyancing did so expertly especially under the very difficult circumstances we were left with i.e. unable to get a mortgage on the day we were supposed to move in due to no NHBC certificate and me being halfway round the globe. A solution was found by this partner which was agreeable to all parties to which I will be forever grateful. He even submitted our bill to the Law Society, as it was unusual, to be examined and we were in fact being under-charged! I did not grudge one penny. I have used them on subsequent occasions for other services and I am using them again for conveyancing at present with the utmost confidence.

I had the misfortune to have used this company when purchasing my home. The first sign of trouble was upon my initial meeting and the solicitor started to berate me for a late payment of his fees. I just sat in stunned silence as it dawned upon him that we had never actually met. No apology was forthcoming. Secondly when I was passing over a cheque for his fees and the deposit on the property which came to an 'odd' sum - say £1878.89, I was told - ach - you might was well round it up to £1880. Absolutely shocking thing to say.
I was truly disgusted by the behavior of this individual and would heartily recommend that you look else where for your legal needs.
